The Fluval G3 Pre-Filter is a daily use cartridge for the Fluval G3 Advanced Filter and will trap suspended debris for effective mechanical filtration in fresh and marine applications. Designed as a no by-pass system, debris remains caught between each pleat until it is removed and rinsed. For extended use it is recommended the cartridge is cleaned at least every 2-3 weeks.
